1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using Dashara ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use our Service. We reserve the right to modify these terms at any time, and your continued use of the Service constitutes acceptance of any changes.

2. Description of Service

Dashara is a dashboard creation platform that allows users to connect their Google Sheets data and generate interactive visualizations and analytics dashboards. The Service uses artificial intelligence to analyze your data and suggest relevant charts, metrics, and layouts.

3. Account Registration

To use the Service, you must:

  • Sign in using a valid Google account
  • Provide accurate and complete information
  • Be at least 13 years of age
  • Maintain the security of your account credentials

You are responsible for all activities that occur under your account. Notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account.

4. Google Account Integration

By connecting your Google account, you authorize us to:

  • Access your Google Sheets data (read-only) for spreadsheets you explicitly select
  • Store authentication tokens to maintain your connection

You may revoke this access at any time through your Google Account settings or by deleting your Dashara account.

5. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

  • Use the Service for any unlawful purpose or in violation of any laws
  • Upload or process data that infringes on intellectual property rights
  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Service or its systems
  • Interfere with or disrupt the Service or servers
  • Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble any part of the Service
  • Use the Service to process sensitive personal data (e.g., health, financial, or government ID data) without appropriate safeguards
  • Resell or redistribute the Service without authorization
  • Use automated systems to access the Service in a manner that exceeds reasonable use

6. Intellectual Property

6.1 Our Property

The Service, including its design, features, and content, is owned by Dashara and protected by intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, or create derivative works without our written permission.

6.2 Your Data

You retain all rights to your data. By using the Service, you grant us a limited license to process your data solely for the purpose of providing the Service to you.

7. Subscription and Payments

Certain features of the Service may require a paid subscription. By subscribing, you agree to:

  • Pay the applicable fees as described at the time of purchase
  • Provide accurate billing information
  • Authorize recurring charges for subscription renewals

Subscriptions automatically renew unless cancelled before the renewal date. Refunds are handled on a case-by-case basis at our discretion.

8. Service Availability

We strive to maintain high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted access to the Service. We may modify, suspend, or discontinue the Service (or any part thereof) at any time with or without notice. We are not liable for any modification, suspension, or discontinuation of the Service.

9. Disclaimer of Warranties

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, OR SECURE.

10. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, DASHARA AND ITS AFFILIATES, OFFICERS, EMPLOYEES, AND AGENTS SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, OR GOODWILL, ARISING OUT OF OR RELATED TO YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY SHALL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID US IN THE TWELVE (12) MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM.

11. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Dashara and its affiliates from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from your use of the Service, your violation of these Terms, or your violation of any rights of a third party.

12. Termination

We may terminate or suspend your account at any time for any reason, including breach of these Terms. Upon termination, your right to use the Service will immediately cease. You may also delete your account at any time. Provisions that by their nature should survive termination shall survive, including intellectual property, disclaimers, and limitations of liability.

13. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the jurisdiction in which Dashara operates, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any disputes arising from these Terms shall be resolved in the courts of that jurisdiction.

14. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will notify users of material changes by posting the updated Terms on the Service and updating the "Last updated" date. Your continued use of the Service after such changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.
